We were lucky enough to be able to take a wonderful trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, where we met my parents and my brother and his family for an amazing Thanksgiving holiday! Last vacation before version 2.0 pops...Warning: there are over 200 pictures... :-)

East Bay Dads organized a trip to the El Cerrito Fire Station today. Zach was a little slow to warm up to it, but eventually we had to use the Jaws of Life to get him out of the driver's seat, lol!!

Zach vs Point Reyes

Zach got knocked over by a (small) wave and got soaking wet right when we got there. He rebounded nicely, though. He loved playing hide-and-seek with his toes in the sand :-)

Fun at Discovery Bay

Last Sunday I went to Discovery Bay near Sausalito. When we were done we went to a restaurant called FISH. I really had a good time and the weather was perfect.

Zach vs. June 26th

June 26th was a great day for Mi Maw and Pi Paw because we got to spend the whole day with Zach. We had lots of fun playing in the back-yard, playing with a drum, eating a popsicle and cooking up dinner.

Zach can build high towers of all kinds of blocks.

Zach vs Fairyland

Zach and Melissa were able to spend all day Monday, Melisa's birthday, together in Fairyland which is a cute, funky, old amusement park for toddlers. It's in the middle of Oakland on Lake Merritt. It made Melissa's birthday very special.



They wouldn't let me go on the big carousel so Mommy took me on the little one.
