zach is a sullen teenager

as he enters the terrible two's, i've decided that zach is turning into a sullen teenager. he oftentimes completely ignores me, he mumbles unintelligibly, he throws temper tantrums, he's accident-prone, and he loves to experiment by putting things in his mouth. any other comparisons that work?

Winter in Oakland

It's been a rough winter in Oakland. This is Zach on the street in early March trying to fight off the wind and snow and freezing cold. The sunglasses help reduce the snow glare. It was about 60 degrees so he needed a jacket.

Poor thing.

Zach vs the pulk

A pulk is an infant sled you drag behind you as you cross-country ski. I didn't actually get a picture of Zach in the pulk, but I think you can tell how not-thrilled he was with it when I pulled him out.

While our plans for cross country skiing were thwarted by rainy weather, we still found some time to play in the snow. Zach's favorite thing about snow: it's edible!
